I first came across the term visual riddle when doing research for an essay on Salvidor Dali. It was used to describe his paintings over 70 years ago. I was, at the time, looking for a new domain name for a new portfolio website and realized this was the perfect name- although since then I've purchased another domain for my portfolio and work (see above) and decided to use Visual Riddle for something a little different. The main point of this site is the interactive web riddles, which I am calling phases. Phase One is due in Aug. '03. Each phase consists of a huge, complex, interactive, web-based riddle (or thinking game) in which the challenge is simply to find "the answer". Please be patient as they take a long time to develop. Hopefully, they will be challeging, interesting, and fun all at once.

I've also added various other sections to this site including a webcam of my working environment, a forum (for discussion of the phases, digital art, or anything really), a web log, recent works, a gallery of free desktop wallpapers, and a featured section which holds something new every month (graphics, websites, poetry). You'll also be able to purchase prints at great prices. Enjoy.
