Progressing
through the stages of life, from birth to death,
Penumbra demonstrates them from a unique
perspective. The short film uses only shadows
and is almost totally black and white. All of
the footage was shot with a Cannon Mini-Dv Camcorder
at the University of Lethbridge in March of 2003.
The music was digitally strung-together from a
variety of freeware sources and then modified
and slowed down to accompany the video.

Good
times + Good beer + People with too much time
on their hands (or no sleep) = This video. An
entry for Big Rock's "Eddies" beer commercial
contest, Death of an Alesman didn't win,
but we (my roommate, Kyle, and I) had a great
time creating it. Stop-motion footage (each frame
individually), 2D particle effects and green-screening
were just a few of the techniques used to make
this video.

A
video based submission for a 'Humilation' contest
held by the immensly popular daily comic strip
website, Penny-Arcade.
We won the contest and two copies of Dungeon Siege
but it cost Kim Hansen (the star of the video)
a broken arm and much pain and embarrassment.
Somehow, she seemed to enjoy every minute of it..
I've uploaded the second half of the video. Enjoy!
